The Old Kitchen

This is a farmhouse-style kitchen in the old part of the house, overlooking the Tilting Yard. It is equipped with a large Britannia electric cooker (there is no town gas in Cossington), microwave/combination oven, dishwashers and old pine cupboard and dresser.

The Pantry is ideal as a breakfast room, for afternoon teas and children's meals or as an alternative dining room. There are French windows to the Kitchen Garden.

The Scullery adjoins the Old Kitchen and is used for the storage of pans and food. There is a long pine cupboard, large refrigerator, freezer, a large, butler's sink plus a second dishwasher.

The former Larder is now a laundry and has a washing machine and dryer, plus a second refrigerator. There is a door to the Kitchen Garden, which makes this a good place to leave coats and boots.
